ARTICLE 191. - Functions of the Vice President.

The following are functions of the Vice-President of the Republic:

A. Participate in the Ministry Cabinet meetings with voice and vote;

B. By designation of the President of the Republic, represent him with all the prominences that correspond to him, in official and protocol acts or in other functions

C. Co assist, with the President of the Republic in the government’s general policy’s direction and be co responsible for them;

D. Participate, in conjunction with the President of the Republic in the in the design of foreign policy and international relations as to lead diplomatic and other kind of missions abroad;

E. Preside the Ministry Cabinet in absence of the President of the Republic;

F. Preside the consultancy organisms of the Executive Power that are established by law

G. Coordinate the state Ministers’ activities; and

H. Practice the rest of attributions established by the constitution and other laws.
